The mission of SSA+S Arts and Technology is to create a learning environment that fosters excellence in technology and the visual and performing arts. Through both traditional practices and contemporary approaches, SSAS A&T will prepare its students to create, examine, perform, research, and teach the complexities of the arts and technology. The faculty, engaged in scholarship and service to set an example for our students, are committed to collaboration, diversity, and interdisciplinary exchanges needed for continued growth of the department, the school and the community beyond our campus.

Starting soon we will begin our very first year as a member of the TSA. Mr. Footland will be having an informational meeting next Thursday, October 6th from 4:30 to 5pm. TSA is a national organization that has over 150,000 middle and high school students who aspire to be future engineers, scientists, and technologists. The mission is to provide leadership opportunities in technology, innovation, design and engineering.
Tiger Idol is back with a vengence. Sporting ten of SSAS's best vocal talents. This years competion, is as a group, the best we've had. So look out, this one is going to be a hard fought battle to see claims the title of Tiger Idol 2011.
